Making Sense of Pediatric Therapy: Your Questions, Our Answers

Child development can often feel like a maze, with each turn revealing new challenges and milestones that are unique to every child. No two kids walk the same path, making it essential to recognize that each child requires a unique approach and support tailored to their individual journey.

At Madden Therapy Solutions, we’re here to help guide parents through this complex process, offering the expertise and empathy needed to navigate each child’s unique developmental path.

We offer a range of pediatric therapy services including speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, feeding therapy, oral myofunctional therapy, and concierge services for customized packages specific to your needs, to support children’s development and well-being.

Every child is unique, but signs that might suggest the need for therapy include challenges with speech, motor skills, behavior, social interactions, or managing emotions. We recommend starting with a consultation to assess your child’s needs.

Therapy can start at any age, depending on the child’s needs. Early intervention, however, can be particularly beneficial and can start in infancy.

Sessions are typically 45 or 60 minutes in length, depending on the type of therapy and the child’s age, needs, and attention span. We find these session lengths to be most benefical to ensure that each child gets the most out of their sessions.

Parental involvement is crucial to the success of therapy. We encourage parents to be actively involved in sessions when appropriate and to carry out recommended activities at home.

Our therapists conduct comprehensive assessments to understand your child’s strengths and challenges. Based on these insights, we develop a personalized therapy plan that aligns with your child’s unique developmental path.

The frequency of therapy sessions varies depending on the child’s specific needs. It could range from once a week to multiple times per week. We’ll work together to determine the best schedule for your child.

Yes, therapy can significantly enhance skills related to school readiness, such as fine motor skills for writing, speech and language for communication, and social skills for interacting with peers and teachers.

We do not directly accept insurance, but we can provide a super bill for services rendered, which you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please contact our office for more information on how we can assist with this process.
